Celebrity chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli, drew the winning tickets at the Hospice Lottery Superdraw this week The nation's favourite award winning celebrity French chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli drew the top winning ticket at The Hospice Lottery's 6th Annual Superdraw on Wednesday 30th September at The Hospice of St Francis in Berkhamsted.
The ingredients were well prepared for Jean-Christophe, also described as 'The Worlds Sexiest chef' by The New York Times, to provide a recipe for success for a very lucky lady from Great Missenden.
The top prize winner a strong Iain Rennie supporter and fundraiser was absolutely delighted to hear that she had won the top £5000 prize and had this to say: "I was happy to be supporting my local hospice Iain Rennie Hospice at Home who recently cared for my husband. The care and support they gave to both myself and my husband was absolutely fantastic with the nurses visiting every time we needed them night or day. Then to hear the wonderful news that I had won the top prize really made my day".
Not only did Mr Novelli make this lady's day he also donated £1000 to our wonderful cause. A total of £9000 was given away as prize money on the day with further winners being drawn by the Mayor of Berkhamsted, Councillor Collins.
This incredibly successful draw has raised over £94,000 for its seven local partner hospices including Iain Rennie.
