Several Iain Rennie supporters have risen to self-imposed challenges recently! In some cases achieving a lifetime's ambition, in some instances overcoming personal fears - all to raise money for IRHH.
Jason Campbell and Piers Villet climbed Mont Blanc in July. The friends' JustGiving page states: " You may ask why we would want to drag our (now not so young) bodies up Europe's highest mountain, enduring temperatures of -20 degrees, possible frostbite, altitude sickness and all in all a trip which involves 48 hours of pain? . . . Well all in the name of charity... (and fun of course!)"
Between them they have raised a fantastic £3,400.

Jane Tickell undertook a four-day Iceland Icecap Trek in late July, raising money in memory of Robert (Bob) Palmer. So far she has raised over £2,000 for IRHH.
The Greyhound Pub in Wiggington hosted a charity Firewalk in conjunction with specialists in the firewalking field 'UK Firewalk'. Several people, our sponsored events fundraiser included, took up the challenge! The hot coals can reach temperatures of 550 degrees Celsius but the laws of physics and some serious motivational training somehow ensure that all participants emerge unscathed!
Andrew Murphy raised over £250 by undertaking the Great Bristol Jump, part of a series of skydiving events at UK universities. Andrew reported it was an amazing experience and he would certainly do it again!
