World Cup Ball hits the right note

On Saturday 10th July, the night before the World Cup Final, over 100 people donned their DJs and posh frocks for the World Cup Ball at Wendover Memorial Hall.
The event was organised by IRHH's Partnership Fundraiser, Linda Petrons, in memory of her husband Joe who died five years ago. The Iain Rennie nurses cared for Joe in his final weeks and provided valuable support to Linda and her two children in the time after his death.
After a scrumptious three course meal, guests boogied the night away to Mr Kite's Benefit Band.

The evening included an auction, with various prizes being donated by local businesses and celebrities, and together with the raffle and ticket sales the event raised over £3,000 for IRHH.
