Beverley opens new IRHH shop

Beverley Craven cuts the ribbon

Singer songwriter Beverley Craven opened our new shop in Downley recently, bringing the number of Iain Rennie shops now open across the Chilterns to eleven!

A large crowd of supporters and local residents gathered to watch Beverley cut the ribbon the new shop in Cross Court, Plomer Green Avenue, who then mingled with shoppers and signed copies of her new CD "Close to Home" which she kindly donated to us so we could sell them in the shop. One gentleman brought in his own copy of a Beverley Craven CD and was delighted to be able to get it signed!

In the last financial year local shoppers helped us raise £780,000 through our charity shops. With our new shops at Downley and Holmer Green we are aiming for £1 million this year!

We're still looking for volunteers to help out for a few hours a week at the Downley shop.  Please call us on 01494 877200 if you can help.

We're also on the lookout for donations of items to sell. We can gift aid your donations and this has helped us raise a further £30,000 towards our nursing service. We can also recycle fabric at £5 a bag, so if you have clothes that you think wouldn't sell in our shops, we can still raise money from them! Recycling 'rags' brought in more than £50,000 for IRHH last year!

Beverley Craven is performing at our 25th anniversary concert at West Wycombe Park on 4th September, which also features Abba Forever and rock classics from the Pepper Show. To book tickets for the concert, call 01442 890222 or click here to book online - an early bird discount applies until Monday 19th July, so book now for reduced rates!
