Robin Hood pub raises over £21,000
The Robin Hood pub in Tring has been presented with a certificate from IRHH in recognition of the £21,800 they have raised towards our nursing service since December 2007.
Landlords Terry Johnson and Stewart Canham organise a weekly quiz for IRHH as well as the popular annual bike ride in September which starts and ends at the pub. They also support us by keeping a collecting box on their counter for customers to donate loose change, and by hosting the Pasta Night which we organise for ours London Marathon team each year.
In presenting the certificate, IRHH Community Fundraiser, Joanne Hunt , said: "Iain Rennie Hospice at Home has always received excellent support from the staff and customers at the Robin Hood. The weekly quizzes and annual bike ride are extremely popular and we are very grateful to Terry, Stewart and everyone who takes part and helps raise vital money to fund our nursing service."
