Training Runs Raise £1,000!
Earlier this year Gade Valley Harriers staged a series of 3 training runs in preparation for the World Famous Virgin London Marathon. IRHH was chosen by the running club as they were keen to support a local charity. The series of runs attracted over 400 runners each time raising a fantastic £1,000 for IRHH.
Stella Wilkinson , Fundraising Assistant recently went along to the thank you party held for marshals to receive the cheque from Paul Mosley, Chairman of the Gade Valley Harriers and to say a few words of thanks. 'We would like to thank you all for choosing to support IRHH and for raising valuable funds for us in this way. Thanks go to everyone who took part and helped organise this fantastic series of events, the money you have raised really will make a difference'.
