Bill helps Morrisons launch partnership with IRHH

TV personality Bill Giles OBE was at Morrisons in Aylesbury on Wednesday 19th May, promoting the store's support of IRHH. The former BBC weatherman has supported us for several years as an IRHH Patron.

Corporate Fundraiser Linda Petrons explains: "Morrisons nationwide are supporting Help the Hospices - the umbrella charity of which IRHH is a member. Each of the supermarket chain's 425 stores is twinned with a local hospice for the year, and IRHH is the chosen charity for the Aylesbury branch."

Supermarket staff across the country dropped the first £1 into charities' collecting tins at 10am - and to mark their 25 th anniversary IRHH gathered together enough £1 coins with customers' help to spell out '25'!

IRHH really does rely on the generosity and support of individuals and organisations as we only receives 12% of our running costs from the NHS.

Linda adds: "As well as the launch collection, we hope to encourage staff and customers to sign up to our forthcoming fundraising events such as our Goodnight Walk on 19th June, our 25 th Anniversary concert at West Wycombe Park on 4th September and our Chilterns Three Peaks Challenge on 19 th September."
