Summer Skydive Fever!
IRHH supporter Vicky Plested took the plunge and jumped from 10,000 feet in a tandem skydive from Hinton Airfield, Northamptonshire on Sunday 31st July. The weather was beautiful and Vicky jumped with a group of friends who had all just turned 16 (the minimum age to jump). Vicky jumped in memory of her father Alan Plested to mark the 5th anniversary of his death and has raised just under £600 in sponsorship which is a fantastic achievement!
On the same day, IRGH Events Fundraiser, Jo Neale also jumped in a tandem skydive from Hinton Airfield and raised £320. She told us that: It was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has idly considered it like me to bite the bullet and book a jump. The freefall was the most thrilling and petrifying moment of my life but once the parachute opened the descent down was calm and peaceful I just can't wait to go up again!
