In this trip of a lifetime you'll take on the challenge of three days tough trekking 8—15km each day through the beautiful mountainous regions of Thailand .
Hike through national parks and tribal villages for three days; visit the Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep temple where you will be blessed before your challenge, take a bamboo raft trip down the Taeng River, dine under the stars and home stay in the local tribal village of Baan Pa Khaolam.
Spend a day and night volunteering at the Elephant Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre where you will learn how to communicate with the elephants, bathe, swim and help with their healthcare before following them back to their natural jungle habitat.
By taking part in the IRGH Thailand Jungle Trek you will not only be taking part in the trip of a life time and achieving a personal challenge but most importantly you will also be helping to raise vital funds for Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care supporting local patients and their families.
The minimum sponsorship to take part in this trip will be £3,100 per person; half of the funds will cover your travel costs and half of the money you raise will come directly to IRGH.
The total raised in sponsorship by our IRGH team will provide over 5 months of nursing care to local patients and families throughout Herts & Bucks.
