Who We Care For
Iain Rennie Hospice at Home welcomes referrals on behalf of any patient regardless of age, sex, ethnic origin or creed.
We accept patients in line with the following criteria:
- Any terminally ill patients requiring intensive nursing and specialist palliative care.
- Any patient requiring palliative care subsequent to a diagnosis of cancer. This would involve support through diagnosis and treatment, and then discharge if appropriate
- Any patient in the end stage of non-malignant illness such as cardiovascular disease, renal failure and long term neurological diseases
Referrals will be accepted in line with the above criteria and subject to the availability of nursing resources.
