Bereavement visitors
Would you like to join our team of Volunteer Bereavement Visitors? Volunteer Bereavement Visitors offer bereavement support to families through one to one support, attendance at regular social support groups or telephone contact. This role does NOT involve counselling clients but supporting them. All Bereavement Visitors are interviewed and then required to attend a 10 week course that runs for one half day / week. Once the course has been completed attendance at six weekly supervision sessions and at bi-monthly nursing meetings will be required.
