Rhyme & Reason Fundraising Group Volunteers

The well established Rhyme & Reason Fundraising Group are looking to recruit additional volunteers to assist existing members in further developing ideas and plans for future fundraising activities.

The main focus of the group is an annual anthology of stories, poems and articles by new and established writers in aid of Iain Rennie Hospice at Home. The publication is currently in its 19th year, with plans already in hand for the 20th anniversary edition in 2010. Sales to date have raised in excess of £40,000.

A general interest in creative writing, whether poetry or prose is the only requirement. However, of particular interest to the Group are people with experience in editing, sales and marketing or general Committee roles.

Group meetings are usually held on weekday evenings in the Beaconsfield /Gerrards Cross area. As well as producing the anthology, various fundraising events, with a social focus, are also organised throughout the year.
